Unconscious Body:

The body is a personal site of exploration because living with a body that requires constant attention has made me aware of its vulnerability. To draw a body is to argue that it exists, that it has been somewhere, that it has been felt. Every mark is shaped by the places that the hand has been before, informed by pressure and hesitation. The source of the body's capacity to make meaning comes from the limitation of the body, where pain changes the pressure of every mark.
